A large series of tools for website creation can be found on the Internet. It takes time to identify the best/more suitable one. Let's share our tips and advice.

Desired qualities

  1. Free
  2. Easy to make
  3. Easy to maintain
  4. Free of any google or other domain name extension
  5. Open source?

Some solutions

The most widely use tool is the [google site](https://sites.google.com/?hl=fr&pli=1. If it is free of charge and easy, it is not near open source.

Other more modern solutions, such as Weebly (see) or WordPress (see), offer ready for use solutions. Yet, it is not possible to get read of the Weebly or WordPress brand without paying some yearly fees.

The key question is where to host the website. Some internet service provider may offer such hosting. It is also possible to get hosted by github (see): details soon!

A free opensource tool for website creation: Drupal (see http://manongarrouste.fr/ for a recent use).
